The video is set to premiere at 8pm tonight
Ahead of the release of his eagerly anticipated new album, Unreal Unearth, this Friday, Hozier is continuing to build up the buzz surrounding the project with a new video for 'De Selby (Part 2)', starring renowned Irish actor Domhnall Gleeson.
The video is set to premiere at 8pm (Irish time) tonight, August 16.
In his nine-star review of Unreal Unearth for Hot Press, Stuart Clark describes the LP as "an album that fully realises Hozier's ambitions – and then some!"
"Things get off to an exquisite start with ‘DeSelby Part 1’ and ‘DeSelby Part 2’, a song suite that goes from sensuous hushed vocals, gently strummed guitars and ambient textures to a symphonic funk groove of immense proportions," he writes.
De Selby is a reference to the fictional character created by Flann O'Brien for his 1967 novel The Third Policeman – a book that Hozier has previously spoken about in interviews. The track was released as Unreal Unearth's third single, and is also set to be the album's opening track.
