Don McLean Announces Gigs in Wexford and Cork
The acclaimed singer-songwriter has announced that he will play a night in The National Opera House on 29 May and Live at the Marquee Cork on 14 June.
Born in New Rochelle, NY, Don McLean is renowned for his multiple hits, including the iconic 'American Pie' (which was inducted into the Grammy Hall of Fame and named the fifth greatest song of the 20th Century by the NEA-RIAA).
McLean's 18th studio album Addicted to Black was released on his own label in 2009.
His impact upon modern music is clear today, with diverse artists such as Jake Bugg and Drake citing him as an inlfluence.
