Donald Trump has set out to create the false impression that Taylor Swift has endorsed his Presidential election campaign, by posting AI-generated images on social media of the pop star and her fans supporting him.

Posted to the former President's Truth Social account, one of the images was designed to suggest that Swift's fanbase is turning to Trump, after security concerns caused the cancellation of her Vienna concerts earlier this month.

Another of the pictures features Swift superimposed on a military recruiting poster and reads: "Taylor wants you to vote for Donald Trump."

The photos all appear to be re-posts from various pro-Trump accounts, one of which is captioned "SwiftiesForTrump continue to break the internet! Kamala's campaign is in shambles over it!"

Trump's post also contains two photos of a real MAGA supporter named Jenna Piwowarczyk wearing a self-generated "Swifties for Trump" t-shirt at a Trump rally in Wisconsin.

In a video posted to X, Piwowarczyk said: "Its no secret that millions of young female voters consider themselves Swifties," urging viewers to "let swifties be for Trump fearlessly."

Taylor Swift has not yet endorsed a candidate for the 2024 U.S. election, but the singer was previously scathing in her criticism of Trump for his comments during protests against racial violence, following the murder of George Floyd.
