The pub was first built in 1837
The Doyle's Corner pub in Phibsborough has reopened under the ownership of Dublin singer-songwriter Gavin James, who relaunched the establishment with a grand opening last week, on November 6.
According to the statement, the revamped Doyle's Corner will not only serve its longstanding role a traditional pub, but also as a stage for young musicians to showcase their skills, offering them the opportunity to perform and gain exposure in a welcoming and supportive environment.

“I’m thrilled to bring new life to Doyle’s Corner, playing the Pub Circuit is how I honed my craft in the early days and delighted to be offering this platform for new emerging talent. It’s exciting times ahead” said James.

Elsewhere, James is set to embark on a a regional Irish Christmas tour to celebrate 10 years since the release of his album Live At Whelans, featuring six sold out Whelans shows as well as dates in Cork, Drogheda, Limerick, Wexford, Waterford, Killarney and Kilkenny added.
