Tickets for Offica's upcoming tour go on sale this Friday.
In addition to his previously announced headliner at The Academy in Dublin (October 22), Drogheda drill artist Offica has revealed details of his upcoming Ireland and UK Tour later this year – featuring support from his collective, A92.
Offica has emerged as one of the most captivating forces in Irish music in recent years – clocking up streams in their millions, and achieving Top 40 success in Ireland and the UK.
With a hard-hitting flow and a trademark fusion of Yoruba, Irish slang and anime references, the Lagos-born, Drogheda-raised artist release his first track, 'No Hook', in late 2018. He went on to garner viral attention with his breakout single ‘Naruto Drillings’, as well as the subsequent remix featuring popular YouTuber and rapper KSI. Originally hiding his identity behind his trademark Naruto mask, Offica continued to build up his reputation through collaborations with major UK drill artists Skengdo & AM and Harlem Spartans’ Blanco. His acclaimed solo track ‘Face Reveal’ premiered on hotpress.com back in May, and was soon followed by a music video that saw Offica removing his iconic mask for the first time – sparking a major reaction online.
In late 2020, his A92 collective released their debut mixtape, 92 Degrees. One of their recent releases, ‘Plugged In Freestyle’ with Fumez The Engineer, has clocked up over 40 million streams on Spotify, and a further 25 million views on YouTube.
Sharing news of his upcoming tour on Instagram, Offica also revealed that his "tape is coming soon".
