Streaming Outta Fenway will take place on May 29th.
American Celtic rock group Dropkick Murphys continue to remain at the forefront of the live streaming game with the announcement of their massive audience-less concert in Fenway Park. Their annual St. Patrick's Day festival performance was cancelled due to the Coronavirus pandemic, but their live stream ended up raising over $60, 000 for the Boston Resiliency Fund.
The group announced that they will be joined at Fenway Park via video by none other than Bruce Springsteen. The concert will take place at 10pm GMT on May 29th. This will mark “the first — and possibly only — time that a band plays on the baseball diamond.” The band will play one of their own songs before joining Springsteen for a set of his own music.

A press release explained that although “the infield dirt is considered ‘sacred ground’ to baseball fans, but with the baseball season on hold because of COVID-19, an exception has been made for the beloved Boston band.” During the livestream, fans will be encouraged to donate to the Boston Resiliency Fund, Feeding America, and Habitat for Humanity, Greater Boston.
