Swampy will be released digitally and as a limited-edition cassette (band store only) on 1 March.
Following 2022’s critically acclaimed second LP, Stumpwork, London outfit Dry Cleaning have announced new EP Swampy.
The project is composed of two previously unreleased tracks, remixes and demos, and is due to arrive on 1 March. Alongside the news, the quartet have shared two new tracks, 'Swampy' and 'Sombre Two'.
“These two songs were recorded in the Stumpwork sessions and they feel like good companions to us," the band said. "They share a dusty, desolate and spacey atmosphere. On the eve of this release we have been touring through the southwest USA, where these songs feel at home in the arid, Mars-like landscape of the Arizona desert.”
Also featured on Swampy are remixes from Charlotte Adigéry & Bolis Pupul and Nourished By Time, who supported Dry Cleaning on their recent North American tour. Tonight, Dry Cleaning begin the UK and European leg of their Stumpwork tour in Dublin, with full dates listed below.

The 4Ad signees were launched to fame when their razor sharp debut album New Long Leg arrived in August 2021.
"In equal parts brilliant and bizarre, Dry Cleaning have established themselves as the premier piss-takers of post-punk, with the release of New Long Leg, their eagerly anticipated debut album," Hot Press' Lucy O'Toole wrote in her review.
"Guided by a wry, but never too smug, sense of humour, the South London group have stepped up the captivating sound found on their 2019 EPs Sweet Princess and Boundary Road Snacks and Drinks – to present a project that’s more ambitious and compellingly original in both sonic direction and lyrical content."
Swampy will be released digitally and as a limited-edition cassette (band store only) on 1 March. To pre-order, head here.
