The new showcase "T2: Sounds of Home" premieres today with Keywest & DeCarteret
The Irish Music Rights Organisation (IMRO) and Dublin Airport have announced the launch of a new live music series that will shine a spotlight on emerging local musicians. The series will feature weekly performances by local musicians.
Breffni Banks, IMRO Marketing & Membership Manager says, "This initiative provides emerging musicians with an invaluable platform to reach new audiences and share their work on an international stage, all while enhancing the traveler experience at Dublin Airport. We’re proud to help create an atmosphere that truly reflects the richness of Ireland’s musical culture.”
The series aims to showcase a wide variety of Irish talent, spanning from traditional Irish music to contemporary styles. The lineup features Irish folk band Lemoncello, Irish Pop band Keywest, and soul-funk artist Toshín.
The showcases will take place every Friday throughout October and offer a platform for local talent to perform at terminal two, one of the country's most prominent international gateways.
