Dublin rock band Three Underneath dropped their self-titled debut album today (October 15th).
The record features five singles that the band shared throughout 2021. The lead single ‘All You Can Do’ arrived in February and was followed by ‘You’ve Been Had,’ ‘Tell Me It’s Okay,’ ‘Memories’ and most recently ‘Sun May Glow.’
The 11-track album was mixed and mastered by Aidan Cunningham and produced by the band themselves. To mark the launch of their debut album, Three Underneath ran a virtual festival to count down to the LP's release with behind the scenes footage of the record's creation. The festival began on October 10th and ran until yesterday (October 14).
Fans who bought a festival pass got the album for free, background information on the lyrics, insights into the recording process, storyboards, artwork and a festival lanyard.
“This album is our calling card. It’s our real debut. It had to be self-titled, because it shows all facets of where we’re at right now. The last 18 months have been challenging to say the least and I think this album pretty much chronicles our journey throughout,” said singer Daragh Murray

"The fear and confinement to the love, hope, pragmatism — there’s plenty of heavy, straight-up rock and some quite candid introverted stuff in there!” he added.
The grunge band’s debut follows the release of their double-sided EP Something Pretty / Something Pure which earned the group significant radio play and spawned a successful stint for them as a live act.
Three Underneath produced their debut album with funding from the Department of Tourism, Culture, Arts, Gaeltacht, Sport and Media. The quartet said they were “grateful” for the department’s support.
The debut LP from the band is available as both a limited edition CD and bundle; and will be exclusively available on Three Underneath’s website. Three Underneath celebrated the arrival of the record in an Instagram post thanking those who helped bring the album to life.
