More than 20 of the city's most recognisable buskers have come together for a sunny and heartwarming virtual jam session.
With the city on lockdown, Dublin's Grafton Street isn't bustling with its usual soundtrack of chatter and live music. Missing the joy of playing music on the city's iconic street, some of Dublin's most recognisable buskers have come together for a virtual jam session with the help of Dublin City Today, collaborating on a cover of Bob Marley's 'One Love'.
Organised by Joy Frost, the video features more than 20 artists either singing or playing their respective instruments. The group all recorded their parts individually from home, ultimately combined to create a beautiful cover of the hopeful anthem. 'One Love' feels like a natural choice as a song that promotes love and unity, especially in this period marked by isolation.
"We hope it brings some happiness and a smile in these crazy times," they write. "Let's get together and feel alright."
