In a historic moment for Irish rap, the pair have scored their first No.1
Following the release of their latest project, DOGHOUSE, last Friday, TraviS x Elzzz have soared straight to the top spot on the Official Irish Albums Chart this week. The release has also debuted at No.1 on the Irish Independent Albums Chart.
The phenomenal accomplishment follows the Dublin artists' major chart success last year, with their eight-track Full Circle tape, which debuted at No.2 on the chart.
DOGHOUSE features guest appearances from fellow Irish stars like Monjola, Selló and Reggie, and finds TraviS x Elzzz teaming up once again with producer Liam Harris.
"I wanted to put a lot of feeling into this one," TraviS says of new project. "There's been a lot of ups and downs, but through it all, I realised how much I love making music.
"Each song on DOGHOUSE is a part of me, a part of my journey," he adds. "I want to inspire kids to do something outside the box, and with this album, I feel like it's being done. DOGHOUSE isn't just a project – it's an energy that will be felt long after we're done here."
Elzzz describes his creative relationship with TraviS and Liam as "a bond between brothers."

"DOGHOUSE came about from a slang we used to describe tough times that shape you into a stronger version of yourself," he resumes. "This project embodies that mentality, taking listeners on a journey through our personal lives, love, and work. It marks the beginning of a new era for us and for the whole culture here in Ireland."
Elsewhere on this week's chart, last week's No.1, Ariana Grande, moves down to No.2 with Eternal Sunshine – followed by Noah Kahan's Stick Season (No.3), The Weeknd's The Highlights (No.4), and Fleetwood Mac's 50 Years: Don't Stop (No.5).
Kacey Musgraves' new album Deeper Well, meanwhile, has debuted at No.18.
