'Shangri-La ' is the third song to be released from Silver Seeds' debut album, 'Hope'.
Irish group Silver Seeds have released their third track from their debut album, nostalgic festival-esque offering 'Shangri-la'.
'Shangri-la' is a pop tune about internal conflict, spiritual journeys, and social anxiety with a hint of Buddhism, and will bring back memories of those (semi) warm '90s summer days.
Silver Seeds are comprised of Gerard Gallagher (The City Apples) and Jonathan Savino (Super Hyper Giant), and formed in Dublin two years ago after finding themselves at creative musical dead ends.
Pulling their resources together, Silver Seeds was born and new music came quick in the form of two or three albums worth of material.
Enlisting the helps of friends Jimmy McCabe (The City Apples) & Michael Tetlow (The Witch Trials), and Seb Sara (Cult Called Man), extra instruments were laid out in studio.
By the time their debut album Hope was finished, the band had recorded 13 frank but hopeful pop-rock songs filled with hooks.

'Shangri-la' was recorded at Camelot Studios, with Lancelot Smith as producer.
Double-A side 'No Lost Causes / Out of The Darkness', the band's most recent release, dropped on April 23, 2020.
