The rising garage rock quartet also released previous singles 'Concrete Bed', 'Hatred' and 'Whacked' this year.
Inspired by the likes of Girl Band, Pixies and The Fall; North Dublin garage band Bullet Girl have released a brand new anthem - 'Panic 2020'.
Delving into new musical territory, guitarist Dylan Keenan, singer Aaron Doyle, bassist Tony Keyes and drummer Noel Dempsey have created a single pushes the boundaries of their sound.
The track bounces along at a classic garage rock rhythm as the band slowly tear the song open at the seams until it becomes a cacophony of noise and raw vocals.
Written at the end of 2019, as the band were staring into a new decade - 'Panic 2020' is sometimes satirical, sometimes political but most definitely their most outlandish song yet.
“This song has been around exactly a year now, we were reflecting on the year that was ahead and predicting what the new decade might hold," Bullet Girl said of the track.

"We recorded this song live in our studio on one of the hottest day’s of the year - we literally couldn’t breathe in that room. That claustrophobic, sweaty effect definitely seeped into the final recording - unintentional but fitting.”
Bullet Girl had high hopes for 2020 with regards to live shows, as most artists did before Covid-19 hit.
Their three-minute September single 'Concrete Bed' saw the urban agitators express their frustrations.
Capturing the essence of their powerful live reputation well, 'Concrete Bed' is underpinned by their aggressive style and the dynamic production of Daniel Fox of Girl Band. It is an "expression of the anger felt by the band about the gulf between the city presented to the rest of world and the city the band sees close up," reads a statement.
A national tour was booked, a slot at Aiken's Eastbound was secured, their debut performance at Electric Picnic was scheduled and they were on course to sell out their first headline show at Thomas House.
While all of this was evidently cancelled, Bullet Girl still managed to put out four singles, a handful of live performances and three music videos.
In January, the post-punk rockers begin work on their debut album and plan to tour a live show around Ireland and the UK, but until then - enjoy their slew of memorable singles.
