Silverback's extravagant new track takes on a traditional American line-dancing tune and transforms it only as the five-piece outfit can.
Dublin's Silverbacks have just released their new, wonderfully offbeat single, 'Rolodex City'.
The upbeat track is the third to be revealed from the band's upcoming album Archive Material, joining along with the already released title track and the first single 'Wear My Medals'. A funky post-punk take on a line-dancing competition, 'Rolodex City' revels in the quintet's signature triple-guitar line-up while bassist Emma Hanlon and lead singer Daniel O’Kelly swap dry dancing instructions.
First coming to prominence in 2019 with their singles 'Pink Tide' and 'Just In The Band', the group released their debut album Fad that same year. Produced by Girl Band's Daniel Fox, the record received rave reviews and cemented the five-piece outfit as one of the countries rising stars.
The Silverbacks sophomore album Archive Material is set to release on the 21st of January, published by London based indie record label Full Time Hobby.
