The artist hopes to raise awareness against racial injustice in Ireland.
Dublin-based artist and producer Chris Kabs has penned a tribute track for the Black Lives Matter movement titled 'No Justice, No Peace' - inspire by the popular protest chant.
Kabs is a burgeoning musician from Ireland who delves into fusions of soul, trap, hip-hop, contemporary R&B, afro and reggae, with the sensibilities of pop music.
Inspired by the Black Lives Matter Solidarity Protest, which took place on June 1 in Dublin's city centre, Kabs has since shared the new track alongside video footage of the peaceful gathering.
“After hearing all the speeches and the chants, I couldn’t ignore the amount of sounds and melodies that were flying around through my head," Kabs said, referring to the latest track.
"The first thing I wanted to when I got back home was to go into my studio. Using my own chant at the start of the track 'No Justice, No Peace' with the help of technology and music production I managed to sample my own vocals to the system and added a piano bass drum around it to express the emotion," the artist adds.

"The goal behind the song is to create more awareness using my music and voice in order to keep pushing the message about injustice and racism”.
Kabs recently released ‘Sun Gon’ Shine’ in the hopes of creating positivity during a difficult time.
