Last year, garage rock band Vulpynes' released their debut EP via UK indie label Headcheck Records following the release of singles 'OCD', 'Silica', '2 Cents' and 'Bitches Are Like Wolves' from 2017 onwards.
Garage rock duo Vulpynes - AKA Maeve Molly on vocals and guitar and Kaz on drums - have shared their latest EP with their ever-growing legion of punk rock fans, featuring their latest single 'Sister'.
Pre-Covid times, the pair had a gruelling gig schedule which saw them perform at home and abroad along with a sell out show in Whelans.
Their new EP release 'Us Against Them' sees Vulpynes at their attitude-infused best, with Maeve's guttural voice and pointed lyricism adding fuel to the fire of their musical prowess.
'One Horse Mind', 'Sister', This Motor Is Me' and 'Control Is Not What I Need' bring angry rock music into 2020, with a fearlessness that has become a Vulpynes staple.
Despite only being active for two years, Vulpynes have garnered tremendous praise from the release of their EP in 2019, appearing on countless ‘must watch’ music lists along with having their single ‘2 cents’ named as one of Dan Hegarty’s songs of the year.

The rock duo also secured a slot at the prestigious European music showcase Eurosonic in Groningen, Netherlands in January 2019.
Back in June of this year, Vulpynes returned to the fray with their venomous new single ‘Sister’.
Lifted from the as yet untitled sequel to their first EP 'Dye Me Red', the three-minute track is a welcome sharp shock to the system.
Since then, the band have gone from strength to strength supporting the likes of Deap Vally, Doyle (Misfits), Marmozets, Stiff Little Fingers, Sleaford Mods and the Interrupters.
Vulpynes have firmly established themselves as one of the most exciting Irish rock bands to emerge in recent years, with a reputation for high-energy thrashing rock gigs.
