The five dates tour will kick off in Limerick’s Dolan’s on September 4.
Dublin-based folk outfit DUG have announced their first headline tour of Ireland across the month of September.
Kicking off on September 4 in Limerick’s Dolan’s, the tour will also take the band to Belfast, Galway and West Cork before wrapping up in Cork on September 12.
It follows the success of their sold-out Whelan’s main stage gig this month, with Hot Press writing that their setlist “meanders as any staggeringly good story should, with a slew of atavistic trad covers and a well-wrought spell of their own offerings, from their as-yet-unannounced upcoming record.”

On top of this newly announced tour, DUG will also perform on the grounds of Killyon Manor at Another Love Story 2024 next month. They join a line-up comprised of Sampa The Great, Modeselektor, Grandbrothers, Hailu Mergia, Shit Robot, Jape, John Francis Flynn and many more.
They will also be touring across the US in October, supporting Willi Carlisle.
