The Belfast-based songwriter is releasing a new album, Hallow, and kicking of a tour in Ireland this October.
Hallow's songs are based on the poetry of Michael Longley, which the songwriter has been working on over the past year.
Now Duke is asking fans to pre-order the album so he can finish recording it.
"I have loved the process of writing and can’t wait to perform them live for you," he tells fans. "These days recording a new album is a tricky enough endeavour and maybe rightly so, many artists are reliant on their fans to collaborate with them in order to enable a new recording to happen."
Duke has set up a website called Advocate where fans can pre-order the album. A limited number of CD and vinyls will be signed by the singer. Pre-orders also let fans access exclusive content such as videos and demos.

The album is due for release October 6. Duke's tour kicks off October 11 at Linenhall Arts Centre in Castlebar, and includes a date in Blanchardstown's Draíocht Arts Centre, Dublin.
