The National Concert Hall Date is a co-headline show which will see both Stewart Agnew and James Mackin launch their respective albums
Stewart Agnew and his six-piece band will celebrate the release of his fourth album Into the Black Hills with a co-headline show at The National Concert Hall the Studio on Thursday May 9.
Into the Black Hills is billed for a May 10 release and sees one of Ireland’s most refined singer-songwriters, Stewart Agnew, emerging from his self-imposed musical exile clasping a clutch of glorious ear-worms.
Produced with Phil Wilkinson, this beautiful twelve-track long play includes a special guest appearance by Duke Special on 'Rain Down Diamonds' track. Special will also be making an appearance at the National Concert Hall Date.

Violinist Zoë Conway is also billed to join the list of special guests for the Into the Black Hills live concert, making for a diverse display of musical talent.
Other members of Agnew's six-piece band include: Cormac Curran as keys and arranger, who has played with Villagers, Lisa Hannigan, and SOAK just some samples, Graham Heaney, double and upright bass who is known for his work with Ham Sandwich, R&B Soul artist Saoirse Kavanagh and Tadhg Leahy on guitars and piano.
