He'll be bringing some friends along with him this Sunday
The English singer-songwriter and longtime Dublin resident Duncan Maitland will play the first of a host of exciting gigs taking place in the Stags Head upstairs lounge on Sunday August 28. The former Picturehouse mainman (he penned the hits 'heavenly Day' and 'Sunburst') has done time with the likes of XTC and Pugwash over the years, and is now touring in support of his critically acclaimed debut solo album Lullabies For The 21st Century. Expect a nice mix of old and new a the Dublin date.
The brainchild of James Elworth, The Stag's Head Raw gigs bring some of the country's finest acts to the top of the Stags Head. Acts on the horizon include Ham Sandwich, Craig Walker of Power Of Dreams, Bipolar Empire, The Shoos, I Draw Slow and The any Tree.
Admission for the Maitland show is €8.00 and doors open at 8pm on August 28.
