Aoife McCann (Æ MAK)'s energy inspiring primitive vocal rhythms, off the cuff melodic hooks, and lyrical content forms her unique alt-electronnic sound.
Dundalk singer-songwriter Æ MAK has announced Irish tour dates, kicking off in Whelan's on April 27th.
The jaunt includes gigs at Galway's Roisin Dubh, The Belfast Barge in Belfast, and Connolly's of Leap in Cork.
Æ MAK's performances are filled with an all-consuming energy that captivates the audience. On her shows, she creates a distinct atmosphere with her catchy vocal range that complements the electronic music. Her concerts also use themes and choreography from her self-made music videos.
Her latest EP, How to: Make a Kitsch Pop Song to Show the World was released in 2020 and includes her hit song 'i dance in the kitchen' featuring Seba Safe.
In the past, Æ MAK opened for bands and musicians such as Tune Yards, Django Django, Warpaint, and many others. Aside from Ireland, the artist has performed in the Netherlands, Germany, the UK, and Iceland.
