The band opened for Wild Youth at the 2019 Sligo Live Festival, quickly becoming a fan favourite act.
Dundalk-based multi-genre band Priorland are scheduled to drop their third single, Seasons', on July 24 in anticipation of their debut EP release.
The independent group are comprised of Calvin McManus, Tommy Hughes, Davie Boyle and Conor Kavanagh - four friends whose passion for music and performing has been nurtured throughout the course of their lives.
Priorland released their debut single 'Ruins of a Gypsy' in 2018, with Tommy Hughes' smooth vocals standing out alongside talented backing harmonies.
Featuring songs ripe with addictive melodic hooks and drawing influences from indie, rock, pop, R&B, soul and reggae, Priorland are catching the attention of bigger audiences with each single.
"'Seasons' was written with the theme of nostalgic reflection on our youth. The layered textures of guitar, synths, bass and vocal harmonies create a sound that is unmistakably Priorland," the band said in a press statement on their latest track.
Priorland recorded their debut EP this year at Orphan Recording Ireland, produced by Gavin Glass (Paul Brady, Lisa Hannigan, David Keenan, Brave Giant, Hot Sprockets).
