Dublin and Cork dates have been announced for Duran Duran's upcoming tour.
Duran Duran will be coming to Ireland as part of their European tour this year. They are due to perform at Malahide Castle in Dublin on Jun 30, and the Virgin Media Park in Cork on July 1.
The multi-award winning group have been recording and performing since 1980, releasing their latest album, Danse Macbre De Luxe in October of 2024. The album is an expansion of their 2023 Danse Macabre, featuring updated versions of their previous hits, covers of other artists' songs, and previously unheard tracks- ‘Black Moonlight’ and ‘Danse Macabre’ among them.
Nick Rhodes commented on the album's 2024 launch:“When we released our 'Danse Macabre' project last year it was born from a spontaneous decision to pull together a record which celebrated the madness and joy of Halloween. In doing so, we unlocked an unexpected box of curiosity and creativity, which led us to reimagine some of our older songs, record cover versions of some of our favourites, and write several new pieces.”
"This year, the inspiration was somehow still lingering, and I loved the idea of expanding the collection, because we could.” Rhodes continued. “Why not add some of the songs that we considered initially now that we had the luxury of a little more time?”

Tracks from their latest project will accompany their classic hits on the set list for the Irish concert dates- ‘Hungry Like the Wolf’ and ‘Rio’ among the songs chosen. Duran Duran will be joined by famed disco band Chic as special guests to the shows.
The tour begins on June 3 with a show in Tampere, Finland, and will go to Denmark, Italy, Spain and more. Tickets on sale publicly on Friday, Jan 24. Presale is available on Wednesday, Jan 22 for those who subscribe to Duran Duran’s VIP membership.
