The band announced the gig as part of the European leg of their World Tour next summer.
Classic American rock group The Eagles are to play Dublin on 6 July 2019 in the 3 Arena. This will be part of the bands critically acclaimed World Tour, which will see them take Europe by storm next summer, beginning in Antwerp, Belgium in May. Tickets for the gig goes on sale Friday 5 October at 9am.
The gig will be fully seated and will feature Deacon Frey, son of founding member Glenn Frey who passed away in 2016, who will play with the band for these gigs.
The band are set to play some of the biggest hits of their career including “Hotel California,” “One of These Nights,” “Life in the Fast Lane,” “Desperado,” and many more. As one of the biggest selling groups of all time, The Eagles have cemented their place in American rock history with over 150 million albums sold in the U.S alone. Their iconic rock album Hotel California ushered in a wave of southern tinged American soft rock in the mid to late 1970's, and became one of the biggest selling albums of all time.
