The Irish radio awards took place on Friday, and saw East Coast walk away the overall winners for the music programming, for their East Coast lunch show. Tom Dunne's Pet Sounds, meanwhile, won the award for the best specialist music show.
The annual event took place at the Burlington Awards in Dublin, with over 700 from the industry in attendance. Master of ceremonies for the evening was Christian O'Connell from Virgin Radio, London.
He announced other winners including 104FM's Open Mic as the best new music programme and 98FM's Morning Crew as the top breakfast programme.
Mike Knightson from Limerick's Live 95FM was named the music broadcaster of the year, while Today FM was lauded as the best national station.
The now-national Newstalk 106FM spent its last year as a local station at the top of its game - it won local station of the year as well as best overall station of the year.
More than 400 entries were received for the twenty eight categories this year.
