But if you’re picturing a slick-haired Michael Bublé-alike swinging an old-timey microphone around his head, think again. Clocking in at an average seven minutes per song, this is about as ambient and experimental as music gets, and clever too. What you may mistake for synthesiser is really an electric guitar – answers on a postcard if you know how he got such a haunting, simmering effect.
