Singer. Songwriter. Performer. Wedding Crasher.
British singer Ed Sheeran was a surprise attendee of a Las Vegas wedding on Monday, serenading the couple as they prepared to exchange vows. Armed with his acoustic guitar, he played a not-yet-released track off of his upcoming album Autumn Variations, which will be released later this month.
"THANK YOU SO MUCH for the most magical day of our lives … we’ll truly never forget this or the wedding advice you gave us," wrote the bride in the comments of Sheeran's post.

The megastar crashed the wedding after announcing the last-minute postponement of his Las Vegas concert due to extreme heat. Sheeran took to Instagram to deliver an apologetic statement just minutes before fans were due to enter the arena, saying he wished he "could change it" but that it was "impossible to go forward with the show."
According to the local fire department, multiple fans lining up had to seek medical treatment due to the heat, and one fan reportedly even needed to go to hospital. Temperatures in the area had reached over 33 degrees Celsius.

Last month, Sheeran announced the release of his seventh studio album, Autumn Variations, released through Gingerbread Man Records.
"When I went through a difficult time at the start of last year, writing songs helped me understand my feelings and come to terms with what was going on," he wrote in an announcement post on Instagram, "and when I learned about my friend’s different situations, I wrote songs, some from their perspectives, some from mine, to capture how they and I viewed the world at that time."
He continued, "I hope everyone loves it as much as I do."
Autumn Variations is due September 29.
