The singer teased the new single last week on Instagram, with Friends star Courteney Cox by his side.
Ed Sheeran has shared a snippet of his first solo single since taking a 4-year hiatus on Instagram.
The singer-songwriter confirmed his new single 'Bad Habits' will be dropping on June 25th via Atlantic Records, posting the snippet with a photo of the musician dressed as a vampire.
The 30-year old father shared the album artwork projected onto the side of London's landmarks, including the Tate Modern on the South Bank.
The release will mark the Grammy-winning artist's solo return to music since he released 'Happier' from 2017's Divide which reached #1 on the UK charts.
Sheeran told fans after finishing the Divide tour in 2019 on Instagram, "I’ve been a bit non stop since 2017 so I’m just gonna take a breather to travel, write, and read. I’ll be off social media until it’s time to come back."

Since then the 'Shape of You,' singer has married Cherry Seaborn and had his first child, Lyra Antarctica Seaborn Sheeran.
The Grammy Award-winning Divide singer-songwriter released the mellow acoustic song 'Afterglow' in December 2020 but said it was a “Christmas present” rather than a single.
Speaking about the new single, Sheeran said, "I've been working away in the studio over recent months and I can't wait for you to hear 'Bad Habits."
"I always aim to push myself and my music in new directions and hopefully you'll hear that on the new single. Feels great to be back!"
The Suffolk native will perform 'Bad Habits' for the first time from Ipswich Town's Portman Road on June 25 for TikTok's Uefa EURO 2020 show.
