The stop-motion video for the second track has already gained positive criticism, in addition to the album as a whole.
EELS have had one of the most consistently acclaimed careers in music. The ever-changing project of principal singer/songwriter E (Mark Oliver Everett) has now expanded out with fifteen new tracks for 'The Deconstruction'. The album marks the groups twelfth studio album since their birth.
In addition to this, EELS also released a stop-motion animation video for the second track Bone Dry, featuring a host of skeletons that manage to be both creepy and cute. The video was produced by Starburns Industries’ Duke Johnson and Dino Stamatopoulos, the team behind Charlie Kaufman’s Anomalisa, and directed by Sofia Astrom.
