Tickets for nine extra shows have been released for the performer in June
Straight off the back of her performances in Australia, Irish singer-songwriter Eleanor McEvoy has announced the addition of Irish venues to her Gimme Some Wine tour.
The extension of the tour, which includes an array of intimate Irish venues, will precede shows in Germany and the UK across October, November and December.
The tour accompanies McEvoy's newest album Gimme Some Wine, the singer's 16th album to date.
As the composer, co-performer, and producer of ‘A Woman's Heart’ the title track of the best-selling Irish album in history, McEvoy has heavily influenced Irish folk music. The song continues to captivate audiences and was recently featured in the award-winning TV show Derry Girls.
Her latest single, ‘South Anne Street’, from the album Gimme Some Wine has struck a chord both in Ireland and internationally. The song paints a vivid scene of chance encounters and nostalgic moments, embodying a blend of specificity and universal emotion.
Alongside her music career, the performer is the chairperson for the Irish Music Rights Organisation (IMRO), an organisation dedicated to promoting and sponsoring musicians and live music in Ireland.
