Electric Picnic has announced that its 2024 line-up will drop on Friday via a social media post.

Usually held during the first weekend of September, the festival is being moved forward to mid-August for 2024, as the organisers announced last year.

Although the Co. Laois festival’s full line-up has not yet been revealed, the Laois Nationalist reports that the Belfast rap trio Kneecap will be playing at this year’s edition of the festival.

For its 20th anniversary, Electric Picnic revealed earlier this year that its main stage will be connected to the grid and powered by renewable energy, marking the first time a festival of its kind in Ireland and the UK will install mains power to reduce its carbon footprint.

Electric Picnic 2024 will take place from August 16 to 18 and is already sold out.
