The countdown is officially on for Electric Picnic 2022 – and in the run-up to the big weekend (September 2–4) in Stradbally Hall, Co. Laois, the star-studded line-up for the festival's new Fish Town area has been unveiled...
Anchored by The Jerry Fish Electric Sideshow Circus Tent – which the lauded Irish artist has curated for the last seven years – Fish Town is described as "a carnival town, steeped in the folklore of its proprietor and inspired by a love of theatrical tall tales, circus culture and amazing music."
The area is located under a canopy of trees deep in the forest of Stradbally Estate – and will also feature a selection of pop-up stages, a café, and The Heart & Anchor Bar, as well as circus, cabaret, burlesque and sideshow performers.
You can also expect some of the most thrilling names in Irish music – including Mick Flannery & Susan O'Neill, The Frank & Walters, Jerry Fish, RSAG, Camille O'Sullivan, Dec Pierce's Block Rockin Beats, THUMPER, Touts, Jack Lukeman, JyellowL, The Blizzards, Dea Matrona and many more.
