A huge crowd gathered in the forest late last night to attend the raging Techno set of the acclaimed DJ and producer.
Big-hitter Tommy Holohan has gone from success to success lately, quickly rising to prominence on Irish grounds but also internationally. And it seems like nothing is ever going to stop him from blowing up even more than he has already.
The sea of people which gathered for his set at Anachronica was so huge that it spilled way beyond the stage itself. Hundreds of people were in attendance, sometimes so far away from the DJ booth that they could barely catch a glimpse of it.
Their visible enthusiasm and eagerness to dance was fuelled even more by Holohan uncompromising rave sound. While the rain started to fall at the start of his mix, this did not deter the crowd in the slightest but rather appeared to feel quite refreshing as the DJ made the temperature soar.
Holohan played his usual heavy type of Techno coupled with Jungle, '90s Trance and Hard Techno - an explosive combo which drove the crowd into a complete frenzy. His infectious, mind-blowing energy spread through the whole forest and electrified the audience from beginning to end.
One of his gig's highlights was when he played 'Inter Dimensional Hardcore Business', one of his most famous tune which was released on Dax J-spearheaded label Monnom Black's various artist compilation earlier this year.

After playing increasingly heavy songs towards the end of his set, Holohan unexpectedly concluded it with Joy Division's 'Love Will Tear Us Apart', making the crowd go wild one very last time.
Tech-House DJ and producer Kettama - who also played a smashing set at EP's Terminus stage earlier that night - was seen cheering on Holohan in the DJ booth during the entirety of his performance. A very special sight, knowing that both DJs are the biggest, most promising lights of the current Irish dance scene and have visibly struck an exciting friendship.
