Irish flags flew proudly above the sea of fans swarming the stage to catch a glimpse of the rising Swords stars.
If you thought after a weekend full of brilliant acts like Hozier, The 1975, The Strokes, and only about a million more, that nobody would have a voice left to sing along on Sunday night, think again. Don't doubt the ability of thousands of infatuated Kodaline fans to sing along at the top of their lungs to every. single. word.
The catchy melody – is that a glockenspiel in the background? – of 'Brand New Day' has people moving and grooving. It's only a few minutes into the set and the cold festival grounds are somehow warming up, probably from the dancing or the tightly packed crowd.
The vocal showcase that is 'Ready' highlights lead singer Steve Garrigan's unique voice, something along the lines of if Adam Levine were Irish. And his bandmates fill in the rest of the song with immense guitar riffs and danceable drum beats.

They went through a long list of fan favourites including 'Brother', 'Love Like This', and 'Wherever You Are', the third of which got people jumping to the beat and losing their minds. It was a stellar set from the Swords natives that kept the last night of Electric Picnic just as electric as the nights before. Well done, lads!
