Talos created a magical atmosphere at the Rankin's Wood Stage.
Talos would be trailblazers of concept concerts, if that was a thing. Eoin French's shows are more like an atmospheric experience rather than music concerts. Every single thing - the nature-themed background pictures on screen, the arrangement of the songs - seems essential to the experience.
Almost every songs starts out relatively calm but later builds towards something bigger, a wall of sound created by electronic elements and - yes - two drum sets. Both drummers play their instrument to a thunderous effect and combined make for a especially rich sound.
The power of the drums is contrasted by French's soothing voice, switching to a delicate falsetto every so often.

Talos are not shy to experiment with sounds. At one point, one of them even used the bow of a violin to play his guitar which only added to the ambient sound of their songs.
With their music, Talos create a whole atmosphere, a mood that completely captivates the audience. Their shows are an unique experience worth checking out at their upcoming Irish tour in December.
