Co. Meath singer-songwriter Ellie O'Neill has announced a headline performance at The Workman's Cellar in Dublin on Wednesday, April 23, 2025.
Known for her emotive blend of voice and acoustic guitar, O'Neill explores themes of intimacy, loss, friendship, and queer identity in her song writing. Her music spans from cyclical, meditative two-chord melodies to more dynamic, grunge-inspired tracks.
O'Neill's work is characterised by its emotional authenticity, merging personal experiences with symbolic imagery. While she primarily writes as a solo artist, she has collaborated with various band members, adding complexity and evolution to her sound.
Over the past few years, O'Neill has toured widely as both a solo artist and as a supporting act for artists like Adrianne Lenker and John Francis Flynn. She has performed at notable events such as Pitchfork London, Other Voices, and Green Man Festival.
