Elton John has revealed 2020 Irish dates as part of his massive retirement world tour
Scheduled to play sold out shows at Dublin’s 3 Arena in June 2019, its now been confirmed Sir Elton John will return to Irish shores for gigs at Belfast’s SSE Arena on November 30, 2020 and the 3 Arena on December 4, 2020.
“The Farewell Yellow Brick Road tour will take us to many places that have meant a lot to me over the last 50 years. To celebrate some of the incredible moments we've shared with my fans over the years will be wonderful. These shows will be very emotional, and a lot of fun,” said the music legend.
Spanning five continents, the tour began back in September in the US and has already been seen by half a million fans.
The tour comes after the singer decided he wishes to finish up touring for good to spend more time with his two children and husband, David Furnish.
“In 2015, we sat down with a school schedule and I thought I don’t want to miss too much of this. My life has changed, my priorities have changed and my priority now is my family" said John.
