The Daisy Jones & The Six star has secured a temporary restraining order against the proposed public auction of the home.
Riley Keough, granddaughter of Elvis Presley, is attempting to halt the court-approved sale of Graceland, the former home and burial site of the “King of rock n’ roll”.
Keough became the owner of Graceland when her mother Lisa Marie Presley died aged 54 in January 2023.
The actor filed a legal complaint against a private investment firm alleging that it is attempting a “non-judicial” sale of Presley’s Graceland home.
The case stems from her mother allegedly signing a deed of trust in 2018 to secure a $3.8 million loan from Naussany Investments and Private Lending LLC in Missouri, using Graceland as collateral.
The investment company claimed that the loan was never paid back in a lawsuit filed against Lisa Marie Presley's estate.

Keough recently filed a complaint in a Tennessee court claiming that Naussany’s claims were “fraudulent” and that “Lisa Marie Presley never borrowed money from Naussany Investments and never gave a deed of trust to Naussany Investments”.
The complaint also claims that the documents “purporting to evidence such a loan … are forgeries”.
This led to a judge filing a temporary restraining order on May 20, according to a lawyer for Keough, and a hearing will be made about the case on the day before the proposed sale.
The entity that runs Graceland and the assets of the Elvis Presley Trust, Elvis Presley Enterprises, suggested the announced sale is a scheme in a statement to NBC News.
It said: "Elvis Presley Enterprises can confirm that these claims are fraudulent. There is no foreclosure sale. Simply put, the counter lawsuit has been filed to stop the fraud."
Graceland was bought by Elvis Presley in 1957, and lived there until his death in 1977.
The house has since operated as a museum that attracts around 600,000 visitors a year.

Prior to this lawsuit, a conflict was sparked between Keough and Priscilla Presley over the inheritance of the estate following Lisa Marie Presley’s untimely death.
The two eventually reached an agreement where Presley received a lump sum in exchange for relinquishing her position as trustee on Lisa Marie's estate, leaving Keough as the officially named sole trustee.
As well as running the Graceland estate, Keough an actor who was Golden Globe and Emmy-nominated in 2023 for her lead role in Daisy Jones & the Six and will also be appearing in Mad Max: Fury Road.
