Like previous Subway releases, ‘Head’ starts off in warm, ambient electronic mode, before the moody beats kick in. On Claro Intelecto’s mix, the spiky, futuristic breaks sound too intricate, but as soon as he drops a distorted bassline, it’s clear that his mix will have the required effect.
