English rock duo Royal Blood have set the internet alight this weekend after a video of them becoming annoyed at Radio One's Big Weekend audience has gone viral.
Having performed on Sunday, May 28th at Dundee’s Camperdown Park as part of the annual festival, the duo were disappointed at the crowd’s reaction to their performance.
“I guess I should actually introduce ourselves seeing as no-one actually knows who we are,” frontman Mike Kerr announced at the beginning of the now viral video.
“We’re called Royal Blood and this is rock music.”
“Who likes rock music?” he asked the crowd, getting a small cheer. “Nine people. Brilliant,” he quipped back at the response.

Kerr later went on to remark, “We’re having to clap ourselves because that was so pathetic.”
He then turned to the stage’s cameras, asking “Will you clap for us? Will you clap? You’re busy. Can you clap? Yes, even he’s clapping. What does that say about you?”

Upon finishing their set, Kerr can be seen throwing his guitar on the ground before sticking both middle fingers in the air as he walked off stage.
The frontman’s reaction was met with a number of reactions. Whilst some sympathised with the artist’s frustration, others pointed out that the rock duo were an outlier of the Radio One festival’s predominantly pop-dominated lineup, with many waiting for Niall Horan's set to begin.
I don’t know what they were hoping to gain from this?
That stage was headlined by Lewis Capaldi so a pop heavy crowd.
Royal Blood also weren’t announced until after it had sold out so NO ONE bought a ticket for them. Screwed a chance to gain new fans.
