The deadline for entries is this Friday.
Renowned Listowel venue Mike The Pies are set to host a Battle Of The Bands competition this summer – and are calling on unsigned bands, singers and musicians to send in their entries before the deadline on Friday, May 27.
The competition will be split into heats, kicking off on Friday, June 10 – with the overall final taking place on Friday, July 22.
The overall winners of the competition will get to record a single in Camden Studios in Dublin, and have an official digital release by FIFA Records.
The judges include Hot Press' Pat Carty, Paul McLoone, Fergal D'Arcy, Adele Nolan, Elaine Kinsella, Ashley Keating, Willie Ryan, and Audrey Reid.

The competition is only open to those aged 18 and over, with original songs only.
Over the years, Mike The Pies has gained a reputation as one of the most revered live venues in Ireland, receiving prestigious awards from both Hot Press and IMRO. The intimate space has welcomed an eclectic selection of top Irish talent, international legends and local rising stars – including Fontaines D.C., Damien Dempsey, Mick Flannery, Christy Dignam, Richie Ramone, Cathy Davey, The Blizzards, Danny O'Reilly and more.
These are the dates for Battle of the Bands Heats, 10th,16th,17th,23rd & 24th June. Final 22nd July.
