The singer-songwriter’s follow-up to Preacher’s Daughter arrives next year
Ethel Cain has announced Perverts, her new album that is set to be released January 8. The singer shared news of the album on social media along with the artwork for the LP's lead single 'Punish' which is set to drop on November 1.
Perverts continues the musical journey of the indie musician, building upon the critical acclaim and popularity gained from the debut album, Preacher's Daughter. Cain has kept busy touring with the likes of Florence and the Machine and Mitski and has performed at festivals such as Electric Picnic in 2024.

This summer, Cain concluded her Childish Behavior tour, receiving acclaim for the intense emotions she brought to her performances, which beautifully complement her discography filled with haunting melodies and personal narratives.
According to a statement, the singer's new album will showcase a fresh creative direction, deviating from the continuous narrative of Preacher's Daughter. The release of 'Punish' will give fans a taste of what is in store for Cain's new musical chapter.
