Following a stunning performance at this summer’s Electric Picnic and maintaining the buzz surrounding her critically acclaimed debut album Preacher’s Daughter, American singer-songwriter Ethel Cain has announced a special show in the heart of Dublin next summer.

The gig is set for Friday, June 7 2024 at The 3Olympia Theatre. Tickets go on sale this Friday, December 8 at 10.00am at the link here.

Florida-born multidisciplinary artist Hayden Anhedonia is the visionary genius behind the multiverse of Ethel Cain, the fascinating character she plays onstage. After years of releasing various projects at home in the panhandle while teaching herself to produce, she moved to Indiana and single handedly wrote, produced and mixed her 2021 EP Inbred from the basement of the old church she lived in.

Cain’s first full-length Preacher’s Daughter arrived a year later in May 2022 to vast acclaim and adoration, catching the eyes of The New York Times, Vogue, NPR, W Magazine, V Magazine, Givenchy, Miu Miu and Calvin Klein. She has also walked in New York and Paris Fashion week, along with closing out last year by opening for Florence + the Machine in Denver, which led to the wide release of their live duet performance of 'Morning Elvis.'

Cain has since journeyed across the US, Canada and Europe on her first-ever headline tours, playing to sold-out crowds. Her music strikes a contemporary chord, with deeply-felt lyricism and emotive instrumentals that have earned her an impressive community of loyal fans.

The captivating artist has spent 2023 on her feet, touring around the world to perform at Coachella, Outside Lands, Reading & Leeds, Roskilde, Rock en Seine, among many other festivals and headline shows in the US, Mexico, Australia, and Europe.

As she enters 2024 and begins work on her forthcoming new music, Cain will play a select number of special shows as part of her The Childish Behaviour Tour — including one in Dublin’s very own 3Olympia Theatre.
