You can catch Eve Belle live as she supports Hozier at the Academy on the 3rd, 5th and 7th of September, and also on October 7th at the Workman's Club where she'll be supporting Darwin Deez.
Fresh from performing on the Friday night of the inaugural We've Only Just Begun festival hosted in Whelan's earlier this month, "Siren of Sad Bops" Eve Belle is keeping productive, releasing brand new single 'First Impressions' ahead of a busy September where she'll be supporting Hozier at the start of the month for his trio of shows at The Academy.
Featuring Kildare hip-hop duo Tebi Rex (who are making waves themselves and perform at the Little Big Tent this Sunday at Electric Picnic), the song has made a fittingly positive first impression and has upon its release found itself straight on Spotify's New Music Friday UK Playlist, as well as receiving its first play yesterday evening on RTÉ 2FM.
The track is about dating in 2018, or as Eve more specifically and eloquently puts it:
I’m so excited to share this new single with y’all, it’s about those lads who wear beanies and have read On The Road by Jack Kerouac and think that counts as a personality. Pop pop, bitches.
