'Naivety' is a remastered version of the track of the same name which appears on the album. This stripped back version completely restructures the lyrical weight of the song, giving it a more sombre tone.

The story is a vignette which hints at lost opportunities and the lessons they bring; it's told using dancing and cosmic imagery, with the song's message "I wanna live and die to a beat" coming through as clear in the first lyric as it does in the last note.

The video is also stripped back, with close-ups of Jack emphasising the expressions on his face as he runs his hands across piano keys. The video was filmed in a venue in Cork with the help of accomplished videographer Barra Vernon.

‘Naivety’ recently reached the final 20 rock songs category in the International Songwriting Competition. The song draws its influences from the unpolished, plain-spoken balladry of the likes of Johnny Cash, but the other-worldly metaphors hint at something further reaching than this, with Kate Bush and David Bowie being decidedly important too.
