A year-and-a-half after the release of their lauded single 'Ad Nauseam', THUMPER are back with a captivating new video for a brand new mix of the track – celebrating the triumphant return of live music with some unforgettable gig footage.
The video arrives just after THUMPER's second sold-out show at the Button Factory – and right before they hit the road for their most extensive UK tour yet – details below.
When the original version of 'Ad Nauseam' was released in early 2020, THUMPER embarked on an extensive UK and EU tour in support of the song. As it began to began to receive notable playlisting on Spotify, Apple Music, Kerrang and BBC6, they were set for a run of festival appearances and shows in Iceland, North America and more. Two weeks in, however, this breakneck schedule was cut short by Covid-19 – and all plans were axed.
After spending the last year channelling their energy into their debut album, with the band holed up in their home studio for months on end, THUMPER are now ready to take up where they left off.
'Ad Nauseam' explores repetition and vanity – taking the form of a cautionary tale about getting too close to forces that could eat you alive.
