Simon will be joined by special guests Bonnie Raitt and James Taylor and his All-Star Band.
The iconic singer-songwriter will play the RDS on Friday 13th July 2018, bringing to the stage a career-spanning repertoire of timeless hits and classic songs which have influenced popular culture for generations.
Simon’s career began when he became one half of the musical duo Simon & Garfunkel alongside Art Garfunkel in 1956. Simon’s latest solo album, Stranger to Stranger, which was released in June 2016, debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Album Chart and the UK charts. He has been inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and was selected as one of the ‘100 People Who Shaped the World’ by Time Magazine in 2006.
Although Simon has not deterred from his setlist much on his Homeward Bound Farewell Tour, he did surprise fans in Michigan in early June when he dusted off fan-favourite ‘Bridge Over Troubled Water,’ a song which reached number one on the U.S. singles charts in 1970.
