The rock trio have confirmed a number of gigs ahead of a sophomore album release.
The Dublin rock trio Fangclub are building on what has already been a busy 2018 up date, announcing a series of dates for a short UK and Ireland tour this December. As well as a few shows across the water, they'll be calling at The Sound House in Dublin and Mike The Pies in Listowel on the 14th and 21st of December respectively. The full list of dates and venues is set out at the below.
The news comes as the band currently work on new material (some of which will be performed on the mini-tour) for a sophomore album to follow-up the release of last year's self-titled debut record, which peaked at number five in the Irish charts. In the interim came their fiery five-track True Love EP this past summer, which included the single 'High', which was written whilst the three-piece were on tour with The Cribs.
“I think they influenced my writing on this from a visceral stand point", Fangclub front man Stephen King said of the band. "It’s a little more 70s in part; we tried to use old vintage amps, mics and pedals.”
