Though Far Caspian is usually based in Leeds, he recorded the album at home in Fermanagh.
Irish alternative artist Far Caspian returns to the UK in October and Europe in Spring 2022 with a new debut album, Ways to Get Out, coming out October 8th, 2021. Caspian (also known as Joel Johnston) is a creative, DIY talent. A singer, producer and multi-instrumentalist, he blends rich harmonics with crisp percussion. Tour tickets go on sale this Friday, July 9th at 10 am on the Caspian's website.
Recorded in Joel's childhood home during 2020, Ways to Get Out captures the nostalgia of a naive youth mixed with the looming threat of adulthood and finding yourself. “Ways To Get Out is whatever the listener wants it to be," Joel explains. "The album as a whole is about the things I came across in my twenties, but could be applied to any transitional period in life."
His indie sound and passionate performances led to sold-out shows on their headline tour full of loyal fans that Joel and friends hope to see again on this tour.
