‘Fast Forward’ sounds like a backlog of early 90s Atkins tracks. On ‘Spin’, the magic one revisits the shimmering, techno bass of his earlier Model 500 work, while the resonating, vocal-led ‘I Love You’ is on a par with vintage Metroplex. It’s retro, but it’s still ahead of the pack.
